Very nice and informed
Hired her 9 months ago to represent me in my divorce. Since then she’s given numerous excuses for not completing any work. One of the issues is faulty/poor internet access in her own residence where she works. She lives in Florida full time and said she hates to travel to PA for court and avoids it at all costs. We had 3 scheduled meeting times, via phone, and she was late for each one. During each call, she talked non-stop about her own personal problems and told me several negative stories to make me fear my husband’s attorney. In March, I emailed this attorney and asked what the delay was in her response on my behalf. Jeanne responded “ Ignore him, I’m on vacation with my new boyfriend. We’re having fun.” She promised she’d respond the following week but never did. She’s unapologetically keeping my retainer despite not filing one single word on my behalf. I had to hire another attorney. I hope someone else can benefit from my mistake.
