She is an excellent negotiator and never tried to make things more contentious than necessary, but also refused to allow me to compromise where it would have been detrimental to me or my kids.
I rated 5 stars in value for money solely because Ms. Gentry was hired through SC Legal Services for my case. I am pursuing custody of my daughter in family court. She took my case on in August of 2021. When we first met, bless HER heart - she though't this would be a straight forward and easy case. Unfortunately, we are now two years in due to the defendant and her attorney making a mockery of the court system. During the entire process, which I add - still is not finished, I have consistently been in contact with Ms. Gentry herself, her epic paralegal, emails or office visits. She encourages you, takes the time to explain EVERY document in front of you, and will blow your mind when in the court room. When I first met her, she reminded me of a librarian. Very quiet and knowledgeable. Not going to lie, I was nervous at our first hearing. HA! She blew it out of the water! I would 1000% recommend. She will fight for YOU no matter your background!
