Brant J. Bordsen, a native of Sutter County, has been practicing law in Yuba and Sutter Counties for over 30 years. Mr. Bordsen joined the Firm in 1981 and has been a shareholder of the Firm since 1986. Mr. Bordsen received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis in 1977 and received his J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in 1981. Mr. Bordsen, has extensive experience in the areas of Business and Civil Litigation, Landlord/Tenant Law, Municipal Law, Bankruptcy, and Real Property. He is presently the City Attorney for the City of Marysville, and for the City of Live Oak. Mr. Bordsen represents various other public entities, including, Loma Rica/Browns Valley Community Services District, Sutter-Yuba Mosquito & Vector Control District, Reclamation District 1001, Yuba-Sutter Transit Authority, and Regional Waste Management Authority. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Bordsen is extremely involved in local musical arts programs, including performing with the Yuba-Sutter Oratorio Society's production of Messiah, and Borgamaria Opera Company. He is a member of the Yuba-Sutter Bar Associaion, and Yuba City Kiwanis Club. Mr. Bordsen is licensed to practice before the California State Courts, United States District Court-Northern District of California, United States District Court-Eastern District of California, United States District Court-Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
