John P. Hance

I had great experience with the firm and the staff. I have used this firm on several occasions and have never had anything but quality service. There are some things said in other reviews i have been reading on here that does not line up with what my experience has been. The staff of of this firm never treated me with any disrespect and or unprofessional experience.

Almost got screwed out of a house due to irresponsible clerk who allowed and assisted my home buying partner into illegally omitting my name off the official deed. Buyers had read and signed knowing I was part owner and when my partner called to have my name removed the clerk did not contact me. When I addressed the clerk she was extremely forgetful and at times rude. Costing me more fees for a separate lawyer to dispute it all if need be. Terrible terrible service.

Very rude and unprofessional. I called this office 3 years ago. I'm a beneficiary of a Estate. This snot nose firm was very nasty on the phone. They literally laughed in my face. I was just trying to inform them about valuable information involving the estate. Never use these firm they think are better than their clients.

I had a terrible experience with this firm. Staff became difficult to work with as time for real estate closing drew near. In this time of corona-virus, the staff showed a complete disregard for my elderly mother's needs. Very rude things said to me over the phone, threatened to pull out of the closing altogether, because I tried to explain that I am POA for my mother. Would absolutely not recommend this firm. I am a real estate agent and have been so for 18 years in NC, and have NEVER had such a terrible experience with a closing attorney's office. I can only assume that Atty Hance is clueless as to how his staff treats clients.

This is a ghost attorney who with along with Southern Virginia Settlement will over for poorly execute services. Would not recommend him.

Hance handled the real estate closing for my mother's estate in April 2011. I have been involved with several real estate transactions and NEVER have I experienced such a non-responsive, condescending, arrogant attorney as John P. Hance. He made a difficult situation for my family much worse - I definitely do not recommend him!
