Laura was very helpful with the determination of my case. I have plead "no contest" to a previous domestic violence charge back in 2005 and was tried again in 2012 for a separate charge. There were three witnesses on my side and seven on the plaintiff's, two of which were policemen and two were attorneys, leaving it two attorneys to my one attorney, Laura. She is a very intelligent attorney and I would allow her to represent me any time. Thank you for your help.
She was very up front and honest with me on how the process would work and for me to be sure that I indicated everything before the court date. She advised of things that could take place if not done on the original go around. I didn't listen and just wanted to get the divorce done. I am not in mediation and she is assisting me there as well.. She has/and is providing me with all the information that I need and I trust in her completely. She is an excellent and trustworthy lawyer.
During the worst time in my life, Mrs. Carpenter came in and fought for me. She and Tamara always took the time to talk to me and make sure I knew what was going on and what the next step was. Both having a very caring heart. Even though she is very busy, she always took the time to call. Sometimes even on Sunday! I could tell she cared about me and my kids.
Ms. Carpenter does not keep her clients informed or up to date on anything. She does not stand up for her client. She seems to back down on everything. To quote her "we don't want to stir the pot, now do we." I have been extremely disappointed in her services.
