Leveraging more than 20 years of experience as a civil litigator and leader in the legal profession and the community, Darrell and his firm help clients see beyond their civil legal issues to solutions. A specialist in general civil liability litigation, insurance coverage counsel and litigation, external general counsel services, and workers’ compensation litigation, there are few legal issues Darrell has not encountered, and none he cannot solve.
Darrell is a graduate of Berry College and Mercer University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals of Georgia and the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Supreme Court.
Darrell’s service to the profession has been extensive, culminating with his term as the 57th State Bar of Georgia President. This followed terms as the President of the State Bar of Georgia Young Lawyers Division, and as President of the Cobb County Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Division.
Service to the community is also important to Darrell. He has been a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the State of Georgia since 2019. He also was a member of the Cobb County Board of Ethics from 2008 to 2017, serving as Board Chairman between May 2015 and December 2017. And Darrell is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Kennesaw State University Foundation, the Georgia Legal Services Program, and the Cobb Justice Foundation.
