She previously drafted legislation, ordinances, and resolutions related to government regulation of private property (namely, code enforcement and the maintenance of property nuisances); permitting and regulation of app-based shared mobility devices such as electric scooters; land use regulations of restaurants; and regulation of the delivery of alcoholic beverages through app-based food and beverage delivery companies.

Katherine was born and raised in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. She now resides in Mandeville, Louisiana with her husband and daughters. Outside of her law practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, attending New Orleans Saints games, reading, and painting.
