William Odom is counsel with Zweiback, Fiset & Zalduendo LLP. He joins ZFZ following a successful five-year tenure at Quinn Emanuel litigating all types of business disputes. Will has litigated in state and federal court across the country, and is experienced in managing complex, voluminous discovery. His experience spans many distinct industries, including software development, film and television, online streaming, finance, and hair care. He is known for his strong writing skills and his intuitive perception of the most persuasive facts and arguments. Among other significant leadership roles, Will was instrumental at trial in securing a favorable jury verdict–including a valuable finding of willful misappropriation–for a trade secret plaintiff.
Will graduated magna cum laude from the University of Texas School of Law in 2016, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Texas Law Review, and earned the prestigious title Grand Chancellor for his academic success. After law school, Will served as a law clerk to the Hon. Patrick E. Higginbotham, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Will also holds a degree in Psychology. Will’s passion for the art and science of courtroom advocacy led him to mock trial when he was in high school, and to this day, Will volunteers as an attorney coach for the UT undergraduate mock trial team. Will is also an active member of the LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association.
