  Representative Matters: Defended a trucking company whose business was located adjacent to a permitted dump site, which was subsequently declared a Superfund site, when an oil company tried to recover damages it paid to settle a CERCLA claim brought by the EPA. The plaintiff alleged that the trucking company contributed to the CERCLA violation so it should also have to pay restitution.
  Achieved a favorable settlement in a declaratory relief action despite an adverse state law on the pollution exclusion.
