Lisa Zepeda is an associate in Glaser Weil's Litigation Department, where she handles a variety of cases on behalf of both companies and individuals. She represents high-profile clients in cases involving a wide range of legal issues, including First Amendment/defamation claims to shareholder and securities law claims. Repeatedly appearing on the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars and Southern California Top Women Lawyers lists, Ms. Zepeda has a reputation for using strong negotiation skills to get great outcomes for her clients.
Ms. Zepeda received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley Law School, where she was an S.K. Yee Scholar and was awarded a three-year, merit-based scholarship. Ms. Zepeda served as the executive editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal. She also received the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology Certificate, awarded for in-depth study of the complex legal and ethical issues at the intersection of law, technology and business.
Ms. Zepeda received her bachelor's degree in biology and anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Zepeda practiced in the Corporate Responsibility Section of the Department of Justice, where she focused on securities and corporate governance litigation.
