Kosnett Law Firm is a law firm established in 1990 with an office in Los Angeles, CA. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing education law, constitutional rights, administrative law and 18 other areas of law.
Attorney Louis Kosnett represented me in a civil matter that involved a Landlord & Tenant issue (that culminated into a UD, habitability (mold) issue, etc.). Louis and his office was outstanding in their communication. He has a proactive style in representation, and you will even get to know the nice guy. Nice guy? Who wants a nice guy attorney you ask? Aren't there enough AH attorneys? The reason that I say nice is that he knows who the client is and he is very professional in his demeanor and interaction. I also believe that he can "pull-on the AH Coat" when there is a need to, but he is also smart (strategic) enough to keep his eye on the matter to be most effective in being either "nice" or "not so nice", whatever the matter requires. I have worked with MANY attorneys as a paralegal (many years ago - Defense Employment Law, Bankruptcy, Construction Defects, and Family Law), and so I can appreciate professionalism, tact, and being able to close for the win.
Entering arbitration w/LACBA for more than half my retainer back over fraudulent bill padding tactics after I terminated my case following dissatisfaction w/one brief phone call and an inaccurate/ general letter written on my behalf. He claims these two items and other wholly fictitious or exaggerated tasks took 3.5 hours and billed $1575.00 despite the fact that my entire case could likely be solved within the $900 retainer and I never authorized him to spend beyond my retainer.
