  condemnation, served as third chair during pre-trial preparations, including taking the depositions of eight employees in the right-of-way, environmental planning,
  engineering departments of the California Department of Transportation. After two years of litigation, the case settled on the eve of trial, resulting in the largest goodwill payment in the history of the State of California
  , in total, an eight-figure payment as just compensation for the taking.

  subsidiaries in state
  federal cases involving claims for strict products liability, negligence, manufacturing defect, wrongful death, fraud,
  loss of consortium arising from use of medical devices designed, sold, labeled,
  distributed by manufacturer. In January 2016
  September 2017, obtained summary judgment in favor of medical device manufacturer in two matters in California state court involving claims arising from the use of spinal implants
  diabetes pumps, respectively.
  Represented celebrity clients in an entertainment matter arising from claims for idea-theft
  breach of implied contract against a foreign municipality, which eliminated the need for a public lawsuit
  resulted in a seven-figure settlement before litigation was initiated.
