Eric Altoon is a Senior Counsel in the Los Angeles office. He has a broad real estate practice, representing local, national and international clients in a variety of complex transactional real estate matters. He is primarily focused on representing U.S. and Asian investors, developers, lenders, and tenants in connection with negotiating and drafting documents concerning the acquisition, construction, environmental remediation, financing, leasing, and disposition of shopping centers, office buildings, industrial warehouses, condominiums, and other residential projects, and the resolution of adjoining landowner, landlord-tenant, and owner-broker disputes. Mr. Altoon was recently recognized by The Green Building Certification Institute as an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED AP). As a LEED AP, Mr. Altoon is part of a select group of attorneys nationwide who are qualified as experts in the field of sustainable design with a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles (e.g., energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, and improved indoor environmental quality), and the LEED Rating System, to provide advice on leasing, acquiring, disposing, and financing of LEED certified projects and assist clients with obtaining certification in accordance with the LEED Rating System.
