Donna D. Pettway earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan, graduating with honors in 2002. She later attended Southwestern Law School, where she focused on Property Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 2008. During law school, she gained valuable experience clerking at the United States District Court for the Central District and the District Attorney's Office at Eastlake Juvenile Court. She also taught children through the Street Law Clinic and served as Co-President of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA).
After practicing law at a firm, she recognized the importance of providing legal services with a humane approach. In 2011, she established her own practice, which has since expanded to offer legal representation in Divorce and Family Law, Employment Law, Property Law—including eviction matters—Civil Litigation, and Dependency Law.
