  Representative Matters: Won a bench trial on behalf of a potato chips manufacturer in a trademark infringement
  false designation of origin matter where neither party had previously obtained federal trademark registrations for the disputed term. Prior to trial the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed all claims for money damages.
  Won summary judgment on behalf of a client who sold s
  wiches to schools in a suit brought by a delicatessen alleging trademark infringement. Our client bought the s
  wiches from a licensee of the plaintiff. We succeeded in asking the court to determine the case was exceptional
  were awarded attorneys' fees.
  Represented defendant, a marketing company that sold the inks
  related software manufactured by the plaintiff, in a business contract dispute, whereby the plaintiff accused the defendant of copyright infringement by improperly continuing sales of the software
  trade disparagement. Though the case resulted in a split decision, the plaintiff had to pay all attorney fees incurred by the defendant in the copyright infringement claim.
  Secured a favorable settlement for our client in a dispute related to one of 15 trademarks it used. The plaintiff filed two motions to compel discovery which we successfully defeated,
  the court sanctioned the plaintiff twice for discovery abuse.
  Secured the IP rights of our client, a toy manufacturer, in a copyright infringement case. The district court denied the defendant's motions to dismiss
  for summary judgment, holding that the written memorialization of a previous oral assignment of the copyright to our client satisfied applicable laws
  established them as the copyright owner.
  Successfully moved to dismiss a counter-claim as a SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public policy) action. In a follow up motion our client was awarded all of its attorney fees at the prevailing rates.
