Alex Linhardt is a member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig's Los Angeles office. His practice covers diverse areas of business and entertainment litigation, including contractual disputes, privacy rights, defamation, copyright and trademark infringement, employment discrimination, and real estate. Alex also has wide-ranging experience in arbitration and post-arbitration proceedings.
Alex received his law degree from the University of Southern California, where he completed judicial externships with the Hon. Milan D. Smith, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Hon. George H. Wu of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He was also a law clerk for the Complex and Special Litigation Division of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
Before entering private practice, Alex worked in the Legal Division of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, writing research memoranda and drafting proposed judgments for special judicial panels. Prior to law school, Alex taught at Harvard University, where he received a doctorate in English Language and Literature.
