Khaled’s diverse experience spans insurance law, civil litigation, and advocacy for civil rights. He has successfully managed a variety of cases involving fraudulent claims, catastrophic injuries, and construction defects. Khaled is skilled in drafting motions, preparing comprehensive client reports, defending insured drivers in personal injury and subrogation matters, conducting depositions, and actively participating in mediations and pre-trial preparation.Now practicing as an insurance defense attorney, Khaled brings a unique perspective gained from his prior experience defending insureds as an in-house attorney for some of the largest carriers in the United States, as well as his prior experience in private practice. This experience enables him to skillfully navigate bad-faith litigation, liability, and property claims.Beyond his litigation work, Khaled has completed externships with the Council on American Islamic Relations and Legal Services of Northern California. During these roles, he contributed to immigration applications, civil rights intakes, and social security benefits cases.Khaled earned a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, where he served as President of the Multicultural Law Student Association, assisting in creating a program to mentor first-year students and organizing diversity speaker seminars. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Oregon, including certificates in Public Policy and Sustainability and studies abroad for the Arabic language in Amman, Jordan. He was also one of the founding members of the Undergraduate Legal Society and the No Lost Generation student initiative at the University of Oregon.Outside the office, Khaled enjoys watching soccer matches, exploring the many trails of San Jose, and spending time with his family.
