Hired Attorney Cheryl Avirom

We are still waiting for her to return a piece of property to us, she has had it for 1 year and has said she mailed it sometimes and other times she said she would mail it. She was also very condescending to both me and my wife.

Hired Law Firm

Worst experience of my life hiring her as a lawyer. Racked up the bills, overcharged me on enormous interest rates, caused increased conflict instead of resolving issues. Unresponsive. Rude. Manipulative. 1 star is giving her too much credit. Abusive. Greedy. Unprofessional. Made my life a living hell. Caused me to file bankruptcy and foreclosure due to her unethical and immoral practices. Hiring and dealing with her was way more traumatic than my divorce was. Very responsive when asking for her money and like a bounty hunter in her collection ways. If you hire her, don't turn your back on her. Karma is all I can say.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
