Leith Ben Ammar FCIArb is a Shareholder and Co-Chair of the London office Ability Network at Greenberg Traurig. His practice focuses on complex, high value and sensitive international dispute resolution.

He is a member of the ICC UK Arbitration and ADR Committee (AI and EPP Working Groups), a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and sits as an arbitrator. As counsel, Leith’s experience spans across various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, real estate, energy, mining, transport, consumer goods, manufacturing, entertainment, financial services, information technology, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, blockchain and other emerging technologies.

His particular experience lies in disputes involving large-scale and technologically complex infrastructure, energy, and real estate projects in emerging markets. He provides comprehensive and professional services throughout all stages of a project's lifecycle, from early claim management and mitigation to trial and enforcement.

Leith worked on disputes, projects and transactions involving more than 40 jurisdictions, including England and Wales, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Iceland, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Slovakia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, the Seychelles, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Burkina Faso, the United States of America, Mexico, Brazil, the British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.

In addition to his practical experience, Leith has in-depth knowledge of legal issues related to international arbitration, construction, and emerging technologies. He serves on the UK Ministry of Justice’s Lawtech UK initiative, has been a supporting expert at the University of Oxford’s Entrepreneurship Centre and is an alumnus of its Blockchain Strategy Programme. In addition, he piloted the first-of-its-kind international arbitration-tailored artificial intelligence assistant and developed a first-of-its-kind administered arbitration scheme and rules tailored to blockchain and Web3 disputes, earning multiple accolades from The Lawyer, Global Arbitration Review, ALM LAW.COM and Legal 500.
