About Tanner Hammond Shultz

Tanner Shultz grew up in central Illinois and moved to Lexington, Kentucky in 2002 to attend the University of Kentucky, where he earned a B.S. in Finance and Economics. He was then awarded an academic scholarship to attend the University of Dayton School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in May 2010. He has been published in the IDC Quarterly publication for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, has interned for Fayette Circuit Judge, Hon. Kimberly N. Bunnell, and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Illinois.

Mr. Shultz began his legal career practicing general civil litigation at a small firm in Lexington before shifting his focus to workers compensation and personal injury. He joined Morgan & Morgan in February of 2015 and focuses his practice on issues of premises liability.

Hired Attorney

I handed this firm a massive lawsuit on a silver platter but for some reason they’re lazy, unprofessional and uncaring. My “attorney” (if that’s what he calls himself) informed me that Morgan & Morgan did not have the resources promised in their advertisements to help me, guide me or anything whatsoever. I had to make and do EVERYTHING all on my own. Tanner Shultz was my unfortunate lawyer who strung me along and promised me the moon and stars bust just as I predicted a year prior to my parents and several others who can testify that this lawyer truly didn’t care about me, my case or the compensation. He always talked down to me condescending, was full of bad excuses and had a snooty attitude just like his paralegal, Kimberly Metzger who doesn’t know how to give proper updates to clients. Am I sorry for being honest? Not at all. After all, the truth shall set you free!
