Working with this lawyer was a great experience after I interviewed many. We needed someone who was easy to work with given our busy work schedules. Mr. Carr was very personable and truly seemed to care about the sensitive family issues that I was going through.
They were informative about the legal procedures we were doing.
Charged me top dollar every month, even when the case was at a standstill, then did not do much to protect my interests. For example, he didn't bother changing a land deed out of my ex's name even though I was to receive all of the proceeds for the sale. So then years later, I needed my ex's permission to sell the lot. Also, did not spell out the duration of how long I was to receive child support. I have still yet to receive my portion of my ex's retirement account that I was supposed to have.
Initially, Attorney Hayes he was helpful and professional. However, when negotiating a plea deal on the court date, he completely failed in explaining the actual legal terms of the agreement. He either did not understand or misrepresented what was offered by prosecuting attorney. I would have not agreed had I known the actual repercussions, which he did not accurately explain to me. Additionally, Mr. Hayes did not return my phone calls in order to clarify the issues.
He was the absolute worst attorney ever! Was so nice and passionate then he got my money and the hurry up and wait game started. Plus his secretary was one of the rudest people I have ever met!!
