Hired Law Firm

I highly recommend Clint at Slayton & Clary. I received a summons in Brunswick County Virginia for 83mph in a 70mph. While I won’t go into the details of why I believe this was result of incompetency or a trap for out of state travelers, let’s just say I know what my cruise control was locked on and rest assured it was not 83mph as charged. Regardless, Clint took the case for what I consider to be a very reasonable fee and had the charge reduced to “Defective Equipment Generally” which constitutes a fine of $130 + court costs under $100. Considering I was facing potential fines of up to $2,500, license suspension and possible incarceration this was a much welcomed relief. Not that I like wasting my money on fines, but I will take the non-moving violation and the $130 fine vs. the original Reckless driving penalties I was facing. Yes, 83 in a 70 in VA is charged as Reckless driving!!{para}For all you travelers, beware of the state of VA. If you do get in a bind in VA, be sure to get in touch with Clint He has my 5 star rating.
