Douglas N. Fox is a true Georgia native who has been practicing law since 1995, the same year he opened his own firm. After growing up in Atlanta and attending Vanderbilt and the University of Georgia Law School, he set up his practice in Lawrenceville, just steps away from the Gwinnett County courthouse. Doug is the kind of lawyer who cuts through the noise; he’s known for a sincere, no-nonsense approach that focuses entirely on getting the best possible outcome for his clients. Whether you are dealing with a complex family law matter or heading into a high-stakes trial, he brings a mix of empathy and sharp legal strategy to the table. His track record is impressive, spanning dozens of Georgia counties and every level of the court system, from local magistrate courts to federal court. Clients clearly appreciate his dedication, as he recently earned the Client Distinction Award from Martindale-Hubbell—an honor given to less than 5% of attorneys based on actual client reviews. When you work with Doug, you’re getting a seasoned advocate with a BV Distinguished rating who values honesty and integrity above all else. Outside of the office, he’s a devoted husband and father who remains deeply committed to serving the community where he was raised.

The best attorney you can hire. Excellent communication and representation. Doug won the case for me plus got all attorney fee's covered , then when the case got appealed, he won that too with all attorney fee's covered. When the other party forum shopped and tried to move the case to another state , he worked with the new attorney to bring him up to speed. He's straight forward , really takes the time to understand the case and represents you exactly how you want to be represented.
