Hired Law Firm

My ex and I pretty much used Mr. Berkowitz together. My ex pretty much hired him due to a discount that he would receive, since he works for the City of Lawrence and Mr. Berkowitz handles cases for them as well (this was my understanding anyway). Mr. Berkowitz is not very personable; he's all business, which would be fine if you felt like you could actually talk in his office and not sit there like a child scorned.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
