Michael Brown has continuously practiced law in California for the past 37 years. He is also admitted to practice in the states of Nevada, New York and Florida. Mr. Brown's practice has been limited to civil litigation in large and complex matters. He has represented Plaintiff /Class members in class action litigation.
In addition to acting as trial counsel in litigated matters, Mr. Brown has been retained as a trial expert in complex business matters relating to issues ranging from insurance coverage and conduct of insurance companies to the standard of care exercised by attorneys in representing clients. Mr. Brown has received numerous appointments by State and Federal courts in his capacity as an expert witness.
Mr. Brown has held an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell for more than twenty-five years. He has also lectured on various topics related to litigation, written several articles as well as regularly published a legal column in an industry publication. One of Mr. Brown's earliest trial closing arguments was published in "Arguments By The Masters."
