Travis S. Whitson, founder of Whitson Family Law, has built a practice focused on providing dedicated legal support to families. A Colorado native, Travis was raised on the Western Slope and later moved to the Front Range. He is a Boettcher Scholarship recipient and graduated with honors from The Colorado College, earning degrees in psychology and philosophy. In 2008, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as staff editor for the Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Throughout his education and career, Travis has worked with organizations supporting diverse family structures, at-risk youth, and children who have experienced abuse or neglect. His commitment to building healthy families extends beyond the courtroom, as he continues to volunteer with local organizations. Travis has been involved in mentorship programs, served as a volunteer teacher, and participated in adoption events for children in need.
Licensed to practice law in Colorado, Travis focuses on all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. His goal is to offer personalized solutions that meet the unique needs of each family he represents.
