Wilson Ferrie, P.A. is a law firm established in 2002 with an office in Lakeland, FL. At this office location, there is 1 lawyer practicing family law, divorce, child custody and 24 other areas of law.
During my difficult time in getting a divorce and foreclosure, I used Melissa Wilson and her office for legal advice and representation to help me through the difficult time. Not only was she very professional, and knowledgeable,she was attentive to my emotional state and handled my cases with a great outcome. I could not ask for a better lawyer.
If you want a lawyer who is aggressive and has your back in court, not afraid to argue with the opposing council whether in court or not and ask the opposing side the tough questions then Ms.Wilson is your lawyer. She also has a great staff.

This is the worst company in the entire world. All they care about is money. Pretend you were never their client, screw you over and try to steal more money for you. This company let my 2 small children go back and get abused by their father. They charged us thousands of dollars and did absolutely nothing. Then tried to sue me and get more money for doing absolutely nothing. Oh if you get stuck with Jenny Salvia run for the hill. Then Melissa will get involved and treat you like a criminal. This company is sickening and disgusting and if you choose to use them just know you will be left to pick up the pieces yourself of the mess THEY MADE! And I’m sure they’ll comment on this saying I wasn’t a client well that’s fine bc I have hard core proof that I was. Please feel free to contact me directly if you or someone you love was screwed over by this company because I am not going down without a fight anymore. They ruined
Plain and simple she has no idea what she is doing. My wife’s attorney was very well prepared but Melissa came in unprepared. She didn’t ask anything I wanted. I basically paid for a high priced secretary. She was late filing paperwork that cost me money. She didn’t ask for attorney fees. I can’t emphasis enough to not use her. I ended up firing her.
I hired Ms. Wilson in September of 2012 after letting another lawyer go. She promised aggressive action in a family law case. I told her I already had gotten several things done and gave her the case file to review. She did not review my case at all I know this because when I brought to her attention that we had already filed for contempt and showed her the paper she told me she didn't know about it and would look into it . She had me go to several status conferences. which took up all but 900 of the 2500 retainer I gave her . She scheduled me for a mediation which we had already done as well as the several status conferences we had already done. She sent me an invoice for my remaining balance of the retainer and was off by a thousand dollars ! She admitted her mistake and corrected that . She admitted that she could not keep office staff. I already knew this due to the fact there was somebody new almost every time I called her. She has not returned emails or phone calls and the last email I received was from a paralegal stating Ms Wilson was too busy to talk with me and that paralegal has not returned emails. I have all this on file I can back up every statement I have made and I have never been rude to Ms Wilson or her staff so I am at a loss . A very big loss because now my daughter was taken by her mother and I have no help. In my opinion this lawyer has too many clients and office problems to be effective in representing me
Has the worst communication skills. She does not return phone calls and you will not find her when you need her. Would not recommend her to anyone. We did not hesitate to fire her after she showed up late for our mediation. Very unprofessional and overcharged us for services. Every time you need to speak with her you will go through the assistant and will not get to speak or meet with her in person.
