I received 10 years in prison and had ALL the evidence over a period of 13 years preserved and brought forth as part of the case not to mention getting dna results to clear my name and set me free from prison this parole that has made my life hell and completely unmanageable landing me in and out of jail . Anyways James E Leuneberger took my ay in court that I spent 13 years preparing for to clear my name finally and decided he was going to introduce the discovery 16 days before my trail even tho he CLEARLY was aware that you got to submit all evidence and discovery a mandated 60 days prior to the PCR trial!!! The judge threw my case out and didn't even hear a word of my 13 years of preparation!! He told the judge and I quote, " I was going for the smoke and gun effect!" When the judge asked what made him cost me my trial! .
This attorney did not follow through in any way. He advised me not to cancel a contract because he was filing an action against a car dealership for defrauding me of $30K. Except for sending out one group letter and asking for & receiving additional "up front" money, ($1K) he has done nothing for the past 2 years - no response whatsoever to letters from me or those we should have been negotiating with. In the meantime, the fraudulent company is no longer in business. I should sue Leuenberger!
James Leuenberger is inept at best. He was retained to gain visitation to my minor daughters. He took a $5000 retainer. He went on for months doing virtually nothing. I was however told to deny my faith and begin attending Wiccan ceremonies on a regular basis. On one occasion he told me to divorce my wife and go back to my ex wife and beg her to take me back. At that point I told him I no longer needed his services. He spent all of the retainer and then later billed for $$$$'s more.
