I have been involved in a divorce case with Ms. Wellborn representing my ex for over a year. I know how it must sound, me reviewing the opposing counsel--but I just want to put it out there that Ms. Wellborn doesn't care about making a divorce equitable, fair, or easy on either side. She will take every opportunity to stoke animosity between you and your spouse in order to extend the divorce process, so she can make as much money as possible. Attempts to settle the case will either go ignored, or she will respond heaping more on top of what has already been offered. In my opinion this is all a game to this attorney, with her client and her clients wallet as her pawns. If you want to be stuck in litigation for months as she comes up with reasons to extend your case, and you want to come out of this process with nothing but resentment towards your ex for what you will go through, then by all means, hire her. You have been warned.

This lady has a lack of communication, and a lack of knowledge of the law in her area of practice. She says one thing and never follows through with her actions. This lady didn’t seem like she knew how to handle my divorce case. She drew this out at an outstanding length of time. I will never refer anyone to her. #zerostars

If there was the option for 0 stars, that is what they should have. They seem to be ignorant of the law, incompetent, or lazy. Or maybe all three. I do not recommend them. A complete waste of $5000.

do not recommend. we have went through 2 attorneys. first attorney lost all the paperwork, then moved out of state. 2nd attorney charged us extra to find all the docs that THEIR OFFICE lost. second attorney she didn't take the time to look over the case and all the documentation that was provided until we got upset that its her job to read over everything. right after court she says she moving (again) and we can follow her for another 5k or stay with heathers firm and get a new attorney for the third time. communication is inconsistent we have no idea if orders have been filed or anything. i used to work in law and was referred by one of my close family friend attorneys to heathers office. unfortunately, it was not the experience we were hoping for. i hope they realize people come to them for guidance, trust and help and when your client doesnt feel that you are taking their case seriously or even care about their case is just very disappointing.

I've worked with several other attorneys in the past. I would not recommend this firm to anyone. I need other legal work done, so I will find someone else to do what I need done.
