Between November of 2013 and February of 2015 my husband and I went through some bumps in our marriage. We filed for divorce twice in that period. When we reconciled in February of 2015, I went to Mr. McHale and we squared up the bill. Now here it is in November of 2021, and I get a bill from the Clerk of Court and Ex-Officio Recorder that I owe them $229.45. I have tried to contact Mr. McHale, his phone number has a paid person who refuses to put me through to speak to him. They will send him an email they say. I went to his office, but he is not there any more, although the person living there sent me next door, to another attorney they said was a good friend of his. I couldn't get any information about his whereabouts there, although she (the secretary for the attorney) happened to have his email, and she sent him an email. It is now December of 2021, and I have not heard from him. This makes 3 emails to him asking for a phone call. Why wasn't I informed I owed this money before ?
