Chad was my lawyer an I felt he was slow with answering call backs an charged me for a judges mistake took way to long for a simple divorce package cost 500$ but was charged extra for the Judge not doing his job I felt this was not fare.
Didn't seam to care what happen.
I retained Earl for my divorce. He was so disorganized that he sent me court papers for other clients twice. He sent my paperwork discussing our plan of actions to my ex wife instead of me. He showed up to our settlement conference without any paperwork or figures. He told me to agree to things that did not benefit me at all. He missed the fact that my ex wife wanted me to sign off a claim to a settlement and asked for no details. He then submitted me with paperwork that he drew up to sign
Paul Smith is a not an attorney I would recommend at all after spending $4500 on him for $200/hr. He is not worth the fee he charges hourly and you will be left wondering how he burns through you money so fast when it takes him sometime 1 hour he will charge you to read 1 email. His experience is lacking a lot and this will reflect how he represents you. I do not recommend Paul Smith or Earl McCoy at all or anyone at McCoy Law in Lafayette, IN.
Terrible lawyer. Paid a lot of money to this guy and regret every single dime. I could've went else where with my money and gotten way better treatment. For one: the guy never knows what's going on. He was late to couple of my hearings and had to explain to the Prosecutors and the Judge about how he "thought" it was at a different time. NEVER calls you on time or is on time for appointments. This dude literally just doesn't give a sh*t. I could have represented myself better. Stay away from him,
