About William J. Carver

Will Carver is an AV rated, extremely knowledgeable, experienced and hard-working litigation attorney who values the relationships he builds with his clients and their businesses. In August 2013, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam appointed Mr. Carver to serve on the Tennessee Education Lottery Board of Directors which oversees Tennessee’s two-billion dollar annual lottery sales. Governor Bill Lee appointed Mr. Carver to a second five-year term, expiring in 2023. Proceeds from these sales fund college scholarships, after-school programs, and other education initiatives. He became Chair of the Board in 2021.

Legal Aid of East Tennessee selected Mr. Carver and one other attorney to receive its 2010 Pro Bono Partner Award for his role in establishing a Saturday Bar Clinic in Blount County, Tennessee.

Will lived and worked for the World Scientific Congress of Golf in St. Andrews, Scotland during the summers of 1998 and 2000, and he also worked as a contract employee for NASCAR providing corporate hospitality to sponsors from 1999 - 2009.

Will and his family enjoy the outdoors, and they have experienced many of the best and most challenging hikes in the US National Parks including multiple ascents of Mt. Leconte in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park, Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, and a rim to river hike in Grand Canyon National Park.
