About Nicole Schell Klapka

Nicole S. Klapka is a seasoned family law attorney licensed in Florida and Tennessee with more than 20 years of legal experience. A graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and a former member of its trial competition team, she began her career as a prosecutor, specializing in domestic violence and sexual violence cases. After twelve years as a prosecutor, in 2005 she transitioned to family law, representing clients in divorces, paternity matters, dependency proceedings, and domestic violence cases, and serving as an attorney ad litem. Nicole combines confident courtroom advocacy, strategic negotiation, and compassionate problem-solving, earning a reputation for integrity, attention to detail, and creative solutions for complex family law issues. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
