Serving clients in Kirkland and the surrounding communities, divorce attorney Karin Quirk has practiced family law since 1996, known for providing high-quality representation at a reasonable cost. Originally from Spokane, Karin earned her degree at Eastern Washington University and later built much of her life in Western Washington, along with several years in Southern California. She started practicing law in Orange County and launched her solo career in Huntington Beach as a California State Bar member, concentrating exclusively on family law. In 2003 she returned to the Puget Sound area and expanded her skill set with divorce mediation training, followed by certification in collaborative law. Karin brings more than legal experience to the table. Before attending Western State University College of Law in Irvine, she worked as a teacher, corporate marketing executive, real estate appraiser, and financial adviser. That financial background helps her guide clients through the tax and investment consequences that often accompany divorce settlements, and she works alongside trusted specialists, including CDFAs, when appropriate. She also maintains an active divorce blog covering separation, parenting, support, property, and tax concerns. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, live music, hosting friends, and being a grandmother.
