About Jason R. Warran

The law office of Jason R. Warran is successor to a longstanding practice of federal mineral leasing and public land law dating back to enactment of the federal oil and gas leasing law in 1920 (previously as McDade Warran & Zimmerman; McDade and Warran; and McDade and Lee), before the Bureau of Land Management, the Interior Board of Land Appeals, and federal courts. The office provides assistance to clients in onshore federal oil and gas leasing matters (particularly in the Gulf Coast, Michigan, and Appalachian areas), including the lease nomination and bidding process, assignments, communitization and unit agreements, and drilling permits; furnishes opinions and information on federal lease status; and assists clients in establishing original severance of land title from the public domain and in resolving severance issues. Mr. Warran spoke at the American Association of Professional Landmen's 2000 Annual Meeting and Conference in New Orleans.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
