I & my sister were sellers of property. Buyer hired the firm. Agreement to sell was Feb 10th. Paperwork drafted emailed Mar 25th. Purchase amount delivered Apr 5th. Entirety took 54 days. Each contact with Karen about updates, she discussed heavy work load & advised about "other closings" shes working. We were never priority in the 54 day process. Process was smooth was when Joseph called me to resolve an issue w/ Karen. He made the process expedite in a matter of hrs. When funds arrived money was missing. Overdue taxes were discussed. I paid my half, my sister didnt. We discussed & agreed the overdue amount be deducted from my sisters portion. Upon receipt of paper work, overdue amount was noted but didnt indicate portions of the payouts. I assumed Karen would honor the agreement. Upon payout, pastdue taxes were infact split. Karen's mistakes on this deal cost me $300
