Todd MacLeod is a partner in the Jacksonville office and focuses his practice in the areas of general and commercial litigation with an emphasis on construction. Mr. MacLeod obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia, his Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. MacLeod was a licensed general contractor and was involved in both commercial and residential construction projects. Specifically, Mr. MacLeod owned and operated a construction company with focused efforts on residential and light commercial construction from the ground up including project design, coordination with architects and engineers, daily management of all dedicated construction personnel and subcontractors as well as active participation in the project’s construction.
Additionally, Mr. MacLeod was a construction project manager for a well-respected Jacksonville construction company as well as a South Florida finish contractor focusing on light and heavy gauge metal framing, EIFS, stucco, plaster, drywall and all interior finishes. Mr. MacLeod was responsible for on-site and remote management of projects from conception through project turnover. He has extensive experience on large-scale commercial development projects with scope-of-work budgets ranging from $500,000 to over $8,000,000. Customers included: Saks Fifth Avenue - Palm Beach Gardens; Ritz Carlton - Palm Beach; Burdines Furniture Gallery - Miami Gardens; Oceanside IV - Fisher Island; Mervyn’s - Fort Lauderdale; Palm Beach County Courthouse - West Palm Beach.
