Hired Attorney

Lee is a great attorney, but what sets him apart is his "bedside manner".
He is very unassuming and treats people with respect. He is kind and patient and is a credit to the oft-criticized legal profession.

Lee is a wonderful attorney. He is great to work with. He can explain very complex matters easily. He takes his time and does not rush you. He was very kind to my elderly mother. We have used Lee for 20 years and would highly recommend him for estate planning.

Hired Attorney

I am the beneficiary of an estate that he represents the personal representative on. The decedent died over ten years ago and we received a partial distribution four years thereafter. We have been asking for an accounting and the final distribution since that time without any result. He is almost completely unresponsive to phone calls or emails. This is a relatively small estate that has no known complications and shouldn't take over a decade to complete (and most of the beneficiaries are charities).

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
