Allison Ziegler is an associate in the Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on construction litigation, professional malpractice, medical malpractice, nursing home health care, personal injury, automobile accidents, premises liability and products liability.
Ms. Ziegler received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. While at Florida Coastal, Ms. Ziegler was a founding member and vice-president of the Military Law Society, a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, and received recognition for her commitment to pro bono work. Ms. Ziegler obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005.
Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Ziegler served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Her assignments included representing Service members facing courts-martial and administrative separation, providing advice on civil matters to forward-deployed Service members and their family members, serving as Officer-in-Charge of a remote Defense Service Office providing personal representation advice, courts-martial representation, and Administrative Separation Board and Board of Inquiry representation to forward-deployed Service members, and creating policy at the Office of the Judge Advocate General. She has represented clients in 10 fully-contested General Courts-Martial, 1 fully-contested Special Court-Martial, over fifty (50) General and Special Courts-Martial bench trials, over fifty (50) Administrative Separation Boards and five (5) Boards of Inquiry. She has earned numerous complete acquittals in complex matters and has experience handling all aspects of litigation.
