Before I met Brian, I spent weeks looking for someone who would help me with my case. I was brushed off, attorneys made empty promises to me, along with a myriad of other expensive and empty conversations. Just when I was at the end of my search, I stumbled upon a review for Brian, much like the one I am currently writing. After speaking with Brian over the phone he had me come down to his office for an informal chat. My case took about two years. It was unique in the sense that part of the case took place here in California and the other part in Arizona. I think Brian's curiosity for knowledge and the law coupled with his experience and perseverance ultimately led to the settlement. Brian through the entire process always showed professionalism, and compassion to my situation.Brian was responsive, and listened to the input that I provided. He worked well with all attorneys both out of state and in California. It was a pleasure working with Brian an Stevanie.
I was referred to Brian by a friend who had used him on a few occasions for both business and personal work. She spoke very highly of how knowledgable and thorough he is. I agree completely. I do want to add, though, that, in my case, I was also impressed with how well he handled sensitive family dynamics. He was professional and understanding, ensuring that everything was completed in a timely manner to everyone's satisfaction. I can't thank him enough for the fine job he did.
Brian has been extraordinary. I was the executor for an estate where fraud was perpetrated, in the form of a real estate sale, upon my elderly friend. Brian was outstanding throughout the whole process. Not only was his legal expertise profoundly helpful, but his compassion and passion in helping me rectify this terrible, and legally complex/messy situation, was outstanding. He went above and beyond anything I've seen before. I feel very lucky to a found Brian. He is ethical/fair/smart!
It is a privilege to be represented by Brian Okazaki, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Brian Okazaki charged me $5400 for writing 4 error-ridden Objections documents which I could never file because every single one of his documents had major errors. He could not even get the city where I lived correct. He had to appear for only one virtual hearing - and he could not turn his camera on even when the judge spoke directly to him. This experience was weird from the very start. I could never trust or rely on his work. He also contacted outside counsel without my consent (I could not believe that either!) to request an extension to file his mistake-ridden Objections document. I filed it on time myself. Lisa C.
Brian Okazaki charged $5400 to appear at a hearing off camera and draft 5 versions of a single Objections document - all with careless errors. And he charged for all that time. By comparison, I had another attorney charge $1200 to write an Objections document. I discontinued his services as I could not trust or rely upon his work after his 5 drafts with errors. I told him I would file my own Objections. He contacted opposing counsel and scheduled a hearing to request a filing deadline extension - without my consent! I corrected his errors and submitted my Objections on time. I requested a statement of charges several times - he refused to send one. I greatly regret hiring him. $5400 is a lot of money for 5 drafts of a single document that I could never file.
