I had an unusual medical negligence case, where I wasn't sure what the liability was. Karen did a lot of research and used an expert in the field to help me understand what the liability was and the likelihood of being able to recover some of the damages. We appreciated Karen's honesty, instead of making big promises, she gave us a realistic assessment of the case and explained the likely defense claims- and she nailed it. She kept us informed throughout the settlement negotiations, did a lot of background work, and ultimately reached a fair settlement before trial. I highly recommend.

She was extremely knowledgeable about the law, the challenges, and the options to resolve a complicated case; and negotiated a settlement that exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough good things about Karen and her firm. She not only exceeded our expectations with the outcome of our case (medical negligence on my newborn daughter), but she made the entire process less stressful by always being available to answer questions and giving us straightforward, honest answers. Her medical expertise and ability to dig up answers a patient themselves would never be able to access was truly impressive. Karen is an amazing lawyer who truly cares about the people she is helping. I highly recommend her.
