Carlos A. Martinez is a dedicated attorney in the Indianapolis office of Morgan & Morgan, where he focuses on representing injured workers in workers' compensation cases across Indiana. Born in Illinois and raised in Puerto Rico, Carlos earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico in 2010. Driven by a desire to advocate for others, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2014, graduating *summa cum laude*.
Carlos began his legal career working on the adjudication side of disability law, serving as counsel at both the Board of Veterans’ Appeals and the Social Security Administration's Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. He later gained valuable experience representing employers and insurance carriers in complex workers' compensation cases. Having worked on all sides of these legal matters, Carlos brings a well-rounded and informed perspective to every case. His unique understanding of the system—from evaluation through settlement, mediation, hearings, and appeals—makes him a strong advocate for injured workers seeking fair treatment and compensation.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Carlos is proud to serve the Hispanic community by providing legal representation in their preferred language. His diverse background, which includes previous work in plumbing, manufacturing, retail, and accounting, gives him a personal connection to the everyday challenges workers face. Today, Carlos uses his insight, experience, and compassion to fight for injured employees and their families, offering thoughtful guidance and strong advocacy every step of the way.
