Hired Law Firm

Lance and other associates kept me informed about my case and they let me know what to expect. I believe they kept me informed and up to date with my case, so I knew what to expect and I feel they did a good job as a team. I would definitely refer them to a friend or family member.

Hired Attorney Timothy Caress

Caress will come across as kind and caring, telling you what you want to hear before you retain him to represent you. After that, he refuses reasonable requests for crucial information about your case and he also balks when you ask to be consulted before key decisions in your case. And, then, to top it off, he tells you he doesn't think he's a good fit for what you want. So, if you want to be kept informed, be consulted, and have any kind of say in your case, DO NOT HIRE CARESS. Ego unchecked

Hired Law Firm

Tim's assurances that "he would work for me" caused me to retain him. However, my requests to be kept apprised and for pertinent case information were met with an abrupt refusal followed by a motion to withdraw from representation. Tim said he had never been asked for an expert cv by a client and that he did not enjoy being micromanaged. I found the experience with this attorney to add insult to injury.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
