Alan Townsend is a partner in the Litigation Group. Alan joined Bose McKinney & Evans in 1992 and focuses his practice on business litigation, attorney disciplinary matters, condemnation, and eminent domain and land-use disputes. In particular, Alan has significant background in litigating disputes between landowners and municipalities about the legal and permissible use of real estate. He is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried cases in both federal and state court. He has been recognized by Martindale Hubbell, Law & Politics and Indiana Business Magazine for his outstanding work as a litigator. Alan also has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for his work in condemnation and eminent domain proceedings on behalf of cities, towns, schools and utilities.
