Can I apply for a visa for my husband if I am not currently in the US .. how can I make my infant a US citizen if I'm abroad?

Answered by attorney David Troy Cox

You cannot lose your citizenship through a lengthy absence.  You can apply for a citizenship document for your child using Form N-600K.  You may file for your husband while living abroad as well.  You'll need to file an I-130 for your husband.
