Do I have to pay additional fees to have my status changed to a citizen?

NO need to file another form. Call + Write to the NVC, if your petition is already approved and at that location. If your petition is still pending at one of the service center, call and write where the petition is pending. Provide proof of US citizenship (Yes..You can legally make a copy of your naturalization certificate for that purpose). The NVC will change the classification from 2A to Immediate relative. (IR6). Good luck.

Should I get a K-1 or K-3 visa?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Fong Ilagan
The decision to go K-1 or K-3 is important for the dependent child. The processing times are very close now, so the choice is not really a time issue. But, be advised that the child will be recognized as a stepchild if you marry prior to him turning 18. 21 is the age-out date for most other dependents. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney immediately, as this will affect the son's immigration directly.

What do I need to do if I lost my 10 year green card?

Answered by attorney Lynne Rogers Feldman
Immigration lawyer at Feldman Feldman Associates, PC
File an I-90 electronically to get a replacement card. You can also get another passport stamp when you go to be fingerprinted. If you are eligible you may also file to naturalize.
