Can I invite my brother on my oath ceremony ?

Answered by attorney David H Nachman
Immigration lawyer at NPZ Law Group
Your Brother can certainly try to make an application for a Visitor's Visa to attend your naturalization ceremony. In general, we do NOT think that the case will be approved unless there are many other factors that weigh in favor of overcoming a 214(b) presumption by the Consulate.

Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Nicklaus Misiti, PLLC
There is not tax amnesty program. Your girlfriend has few options on her own. Asylum may be an option, if she has a fear of returning to her country.

My father has permanent residency and was deported, how can he come back legally?

Answered by attorney Eric M. Mark
Immigration lawyer at The Law Office of Eric M. Mark
He needs an attorney immediately. With that type of conviction there may not be anything he can do, but it is very fact dependent and you need to consult with an attorney right away.
