Permit of 1 month aplied for extension b2 I am pregnant and to give cs exam but at airport CBP officer strongly asked abt pregnancy and I denied

Answered by attorney Alan Lee
Immigration lawyer at Alan Lee Arthur Lee, Attorneys at Law
I believe that your chances of obtaining an extension of your B-2 status are likely okay. You were admitted by the CBP officer instead of being turned away and so unless the officer marked your passport with remarks like no change of status ("no C/S") or no extension of status ("No EOS"), you would most likely be treated as a fresh adjudication by a U.S.C.I.S. officer.Due to the limitations of the Lawyers.com Forums, Alan Lee, Esq.'s (the "Firm") participation in responding to questions posted herein does not constitute legal advice, nor legal representation of the person or entity posting a question. Can you enter back to the United States after you have completed probation?

Answered by attorney Kenneth G. Wincorn
Immigration lawyer at Law Offices of Kenneth G. Wincorn & Associates, P.C.
Check with us or another attorney before leaving to be sure there are no problems not mentioned. The answer is that a DWI will not result in loss of the permanent residence, but there is an exception if he has been sentenced to more than 5 years in jail in total, even if he had probation.

How long does it take to get a VAWA approval?

Answered by attorney William D. Fong (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Fong Ilagan
Consult with an experienced immigration attorney. VAWA cases need to be prepared well and often will require a professional evaluation from a mental health professional. Your previous filing may complicate your case, depending on what you filed and what you put on the form.
