Will it be overstay if my visa gets rejected?

Answered by attorney David H Nachman
Immigration lawyer at NPZ Law Group
You are likely speaking about your I-94. If you filed for a bona fide extension of the I-94 then you will be in-status until a decision is made on the case. If the extension is approved it harkens back. If the case is denied then you will begin to accrue unlawful presence under 212(a)(9) as of the denial date.

Hello. There are no general work permits unless you are processing a green card. Thus, I would need to know more about your business, the job offer and his background. Feel free to email me his resume and information on your company. harun@ksvisalaw.com

How long after you get married to a USC will you get your green card?

Answered by attorney Eric Arden Fisher (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at The Law Office of Eric A. Fisher, LLC
If your spouse entered with a visa and is otherwise eligible, he can expect an immigration interview with you about 4 months after you file the I-130 petition and he files the I-485 application, if all the proper documents are included. If approved, a "green card" can be issued within days of a successful interview.
