How can a minor apply for a green card with immigration?

Reza Athari
Answered by attorney Reza Athari (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Reza Athari & Associates, PLLC
Let's hope for the Dream Act to be passed by Congress. I suggest that people like yourself and family members should contact the representatives and senators and request their affirmative action on this act. Unfortunately, a lot of political poisoning by certain groups has deterred our law makers to accomplish this important issue which will have a great positive impact on our economy and will result in justice for individuals like yourself.

If i chose Voluntary Deportation is it possible i can come back to the United states?

Justin Wang
Answered by attorney Justin Wang (Unclaimed Profile)
Immigration lawyer at Sheppard Mullin
There is no"voluntary deportation". You probably mean "voluntary departure". If that is the case, it depends on why you are in removal proceeding in the first place. If you have violated other immigration laws, such as overstaying your authorized stay; entering without inspection; accepting unauthorized employment, failure to otherwise maintain your status, you may be barred for 3 years or even 10 years to return to the US.
